The Cobb County Schools which serve Brookstone are Ford Elementary,
Vaughn Elementary and Frey Elementary for Kindergarten through
5th Grade; Durham Middle School and Lost Mountain Middle School
for Grades 6th, 7th and 8th and Carl Harrison High School
for Grades 9-12.

Brookstone Golf & Country Club is a private club offering
golf, tennis and social memberships. Club membership is optional.

Brookstone I currently has a mandatory annual fee of $220.00 which covers the common grounds maintenance. The optional swim and tennis
located in Brookstone I is currently an additional $375.00 per year. Brookstone II currently has an annual mandatory fee of $475.00 which
includes the swim and tennis facility located in Brookstone II. Brookstone III's annual mandatory fee of $575.00 includes the swim and tennis
facility located in Brookstone III. These fees do not include country club fees and dues. In addition, each of the recreation areas offers a
competition size pool, lighted tennis court, a clubhouse, a basketball area and playground areas. Brookstone I also offers a soccer and softball field.
NEW NORTHWEST YMCA
The new YMCA is a 47,000 square foot state of the art sports complex and includes: a 28-foot climbing wall within a circular ramped atrium with indoor track; 6-lane indoor heated pool; whirlpool and saunas; over 75 pieces of fitness equipment; full court gym; youth room for members ages 6 to 14 years; nursery for children ages 6 months to 6 years; community room; Wellstar Center; Indian Guide programs; soccer; aerobic classes; yoga classes; pilates classes; and spin classes, plus walking trails; on-site skate park for inline skating, skateboarding and rollerhockey.

PUBLIC LIBRARIES
The West Cobb Regional Library is located directly across from Brookstone's main entrance and near the YMCA. It is the largest branch facility among Cobb
County's 16 total library facilities. The main Cobb County Library is located in downtown Marietta; this modern 64,000 square foot facility has an entire
floor dedicated to children. The Kemp Memorial branch library is located on Due West Road just a few miles from Brookstone.

COUNTY PARKS, RECREATION & CULTURAL AFFAIRS
Cobb County Parks & Recreational Services rank as one
of the top in the nation. Lost Mountain Park (160-acre facility)
and Oregon Park offer softball, baseball, tennis, football,
summer camps, recreation center, lakes, equestrian fitness
trail, picnic shelters and playgrounds. A total of 35 parks
serve Cobb County.
The Cultural Affairs division offers artistic and cultural
opportunities and provide the County with funding, facilities,
programs, interest clubs, instructional classes and special
events. Special events include an annual children's art festival,
theater performances, local artist exhibitions and an annual
Christmas show.
Cobb County's Aquatic Center is open year-round to participants
interested in swimming, weight training or fitness programs.
Located on Fairground Street in Larry Bell Park, the Aquatic
Center offers instructional classes, public and lap swim times
and swim meets. The Cobb Gymnastics Center is also located in Larry Bell Park
on Fairground Street. Cobb's recreation department, along
with a quality competitive gymnastics program offers one of
the largest instructional programs in Metro Atlanta. Instructional
classes are held at various middle schools as well as the
Gymnastic Center. Classes are available for ages 3-18.
